new iPods, iTunes and Podcasting
Posted by Michael Dale on Wed, 29 Jun 2005 9:05 AMYesterday apple updated iTunes to version 4.9, this new version now has built in podcasting support. It allows you to manage different podcasts somewhat like RSS feeds. You can make each podcast sync to your iPod whenever a new one is downloaded.
The firmware on all iPods has also been upgraded to better support these podcasts, and should allow you to manage them better.
The old black & white iPod is no longer on sale and has been replaced with a colour version.
