Because of the issues last week I've made arrangements for a few backup DNS servers. I'll be moving all my sites over to the new setup either this week or once I get back from holidays. During this time all my domains will be down, if you rely on any dns lookups to my domains (i.e extranet.dalegroup.org) you will be affected.
Stuff shouldn't be offline for long.
Err, it's late, I forgot I'm still SSHing to the old address. Doo bee doo. Obviously they haven't been moved yet, or you've got some smooooth routing setup over there :P
Sites will not move until after Christmas/early new year. Continue using the current CNAME. I'll let everyone know when there is a change.
Can we use A-records now/soon? Or will DNS be being moved the same time as the servers are physically being relocated, so it won't alleviate downtime anyway...? (Not that it really matters for my site at least :P)
